This is a static display model that can be retrofitted with a sound/light card and battery with some modification.  We are looking forward to seeing what builders do with our kit to add FX and might consider that option eventually.  (Please note that we do not recommend the model be used for contact dueling.)

Not at this time.  The builders patience and attention to detail will result in a beautiful model that will complement any Light Saber.  In order to keep up with demand, we are devoting our time to producing kits and getting them to their new owners.  Depending on demand, limited fully built kits could be a possibility in the future.

Our goal with this introductory product is to keep the cost down so that many more aspiring Jedi can own one.  The parts could be produced in metal but that would result in a significantly higher priced kit.  But that concept might be revisited as 3D metal printing costs come down as the technology advances.

This is a static display kit that is sized to fit the original Graflex Synchronizer Tubes used in New Hope.  The diameter is the same as a D-Cell battery that was inside the original tube.  The finished model measures 8-1/4 inches in length but could be shortened by the builder.
